Role Summary
The International Shipping Clerk focuses on picking, checking, packing, and shipping orders to our international customers. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and superior communication skills. Additionally, they support other warehouse functions, including assembly tasks, inventory counts, and stocking shelves.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the picking, batch-checking, inspecting, labelling and shipping of all international orders
- Liaison with the Order Entry and Admin Clerk regarding international orders
- Maintain status of international orders in ROF
- Develop and maintain improvement measures to reduce processing time and increase accuracy for international & tradeshow orders
- Work with Supply Chain leadership to speed up shipping times
- Research all errors for root cause and corrective action
- Efficiently record and report batch numbers on each order
- Participate in the picking, packing and shipping of all tradeshow orders
- Maximize use of space assigned to the Canadian Warehouse for storage of tradeshow products and components
- Work with Supply Chain Planning team to minimize unboxing of retail product
- Back up tradeshow returns and determine if unboxed product should be held or returned to shelf
- Backup for returns- process inbound returns and update in RMA
- Participate with Team Members in the picking, checking, packing, shipping of Canadian orders and occassionally assembling of product components
- Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and organization of the Canadian Warehouse
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Warehouse and/or manufacturing line experience an asset
- Picking and packing experience preferred
- Shipping software experience an asset
- Customs Export documentation experience preferred
- Must be able to comfortably and regularly lift and maneuver up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Reliable and punctual
